The Nokia N1 tablet may be released in the U.S. and Europe soon following its successful flash sales in China, wherein it sold out every time.

Although the Finnish tech company did not disclose any specific date, the tablet is expected creep into the Western market soon because of its immense popularity. It sold out its first and second batches in China, which is one of the key markets of any business. During its first flash sale, 20,000 units were sold out in four minutes, or 5,000 units per minute. The number of units sold in the second flash sale was undisclosed, but the stock was reportedly sold in minutes as well. The sales of the device is growing exponentially as sellers are going all out in advertising it.

Part of the Nokia N1 tablet's charm is its high-end specs and features that are at par with other top tablets in the market. It has an aluminum body, a 7.9-inch screen with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and is powered by the 2.3 GHz Intel processor. It sports an 8-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, and a slightly mediocre 5300 mAh battery.

Although MIcrosoft acquired the mobile phone business of Nokia, the N1 tablet is not a Windows-based device. It runs with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS just like the Google Nexus 9. This has become an advantage for the N1 since it comes with the most recent Android OS along with great specs and features of Nokia devices.

The tablet currently costs $250, which is $100 less than the Nexus 9 tablet.
