Oklahoma City Thunder's star player Kevin Durant recently denied rumors about him having a rift with teammate Russel Westbrook.

Before the Thunder's 117–114 win over the Dallas Mavericks last Sunday, Durant shared in an interview with The Oklahoman that things are well between him and Westbrook.

Oklahoma City have relied so much in the duo of Durant and Westbrook, which resulted to a number of playoff appearances except last season, when Durant missed majority of the year with a foot injury.

Despite all the years that they have worked together and the success they had, Durant revealed in the interview that he has exchanged words with Westbrook.

"There's times where we go at it. There's times I don't like what he's doing out on the court. There's times where he hates what I'm doing out on the court," Durant shared with The Oklahoman.

But the 27-year-old said that makes him and Westbrook brothers, also adding, "Because I know if I need something, he'll be there and if I need to talk to someone outside of basketball, he'll be there. It's a real brotherhood type relationship. We're like family."

Durant has been missing their past few games due to a hamstring injury, but Westbrook has taken over and led the team to Sunday's victory over the Mavs.

The win improved the Thunder's record to 8–6 to be on the fourth spot in the Western Conference standings as they snapped Dallas' six-game winning streak.

Westbrook took charge and had a double-double, recording 31 points with 11 assists, also having five rebounds, five steals, and one block.

Another standout performance in the win was from big man Serge Ibaka who tallied 16 points, nine rebounds, one assist, and one block.

Up next for the Thunder will be a road trip to take on the Utah Jazz today, Monday, before having a back-to-back home stand facing the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday and the Detroit Pistons on Friday.

Faith is often accompanied by uncertainty, yet it is in stepping forward that we encounter the power of God. The Israelites learned this at the Jordan River, where God performed a miracle only after they demonstrated obedience.
