The former stars of the ABC fantasy series "Once Upon a Time" have landed new roles, which have come on the heels of "Once Upon a Time's" cancellation. Actress Ginnifer Goodwin is returning to ABC as part of a new sitcom, with former co-stars Josh Dallas and Rebecca Mader landing new roles as well.

Back in February, it was announced that the seventh season of "Once Upon a Time" was to be its last. The series debuted in 2011, and by its seventh season, most of the show's original cast had already departed.

Goodwin, who played Snow White on the show, left the show after filming for the sixth season. Her real-life husband and co-star, Dallas, played Prince Charming and left the show after the sixth season as well. Actress Jennifer Morrison, who played Snow White and Prince Charming's daughter Emma, was relegated to a recurring role in season 7.

However, it seems that Goodwin in particular is slated to return to ABC, having been cast to star in the pilot of the network's new sitcom "Steps." In "Steps," Goodwin will play a character named Bea, a parent coach raising the same three children as her new husband, her ex-husband, and her new husband's ex-wife.

Goodwin's husband Dallas, meanwhile, has been cast in a lead role in the new NBC drama "Manifest." The show is about a plane that has disappeared without a trace, its passengers presumed dead. However, the plane suddenly turns up years later, although its passengers have not aged at all.

Other than Goodwin and Dallas, there is another "Once Upon a Time" alum making a return to television. Mader, who played Zelena in "Once Upon a Time," is also slated to appear in the pilot of a new NBC sitcom titled "Like Family." Mader stars as Camille, a woman obsessed with staying young and beautiful.

"Once Upon a Time" airs every Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
