"One Punch Man" season 2 could be the most exciting season of the anime yet as Saitama is expected to deal with stronger opponents this season.

Fans of the hero for fun knows very well that Saitama's incredible strength does not offer the thrill of a full-on fight, as it always ends with him victorious and the opponent dead in just one punch.

Now, it is looking like the battles that the bald hero will engage in on "One Punch Man" season 2 will last beyond his killer wallop. Rumor has it that Saitama will meet his match in Garou.

It is being said that Garou has the same amount of strength as Saitama. The problem is that he uses them to cause harm and death rather than help people.

When these two meet in "One Punch Man" season 2, it will be quite a show with fans finally going to witness how Saitama does in an exchange of blows, which he never experienced in his past opponents.

As for the air date, "One Punch Man" season 2 is expected to premiere early next year. It is unclear when exactly, although looking at the source material, Madhouse Entertainment might be waiting for new chapters.

The first season blew through the first seven volumes of the manga by ONE and Yusuke Murata, and so far there are only 11 volumes out.

If they go at the same pace and have a bigger episode count in "One Punch Man" season 2, (it is expected to have 19, which is seven more than the first season), the anime will have wait for new material to use.

Either way, fans won't have to worry about Saitama not returning to action to the small screen. In fact, his comeback will be made bigger with a "One Punch Man" mobile game.

Details about the smartphone app are difficult to come by at the moment, but it is expected to be released along with "One Punch Man" season 2.
