The rumor mill is working overtime for the highly speculated OnePlus 3, with several images surfacing along with possible technical specifications of the phone. It is rumored that the Snapdragon 820-equipped phone with 6GB of RAM could possibly arrive next week.

Tech Radar reported that the upcoming OnePlus 3 may possibly be unveiled this coming May 18, according to sources familiar with the matter. The mobile community is expecting the smartphone to arrive sometime near the end of Q2, since this was the period mentioned by Carl Pei, the company's co-founder.

The latest leaked images of the OnePlus 3 show that it may look similar to the iPhone or HTC One. A pill-shaped home button is at its usual place, and is believed to be containing a finger print scanner. It is further speculated that it will have a 5.5-inch display screen with a 1080p resolution, again, similar to its predecessor.

There are several benchmark results available for the rumored flagship phone. KnowYourMobile mentioned the first benchmark test shows a 5-inch phone with an SD 820 running at 2.1 GHz. The phone is said here to ahve a 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 16MP main and 8MP front cameras.

9To5Google, meanwhile, mentioned that the rumored phone will have a 4GB RAM and 32GB storage. The rest of the specs are the same.

However, GizmoChina mentioned that the "2017 flagship killer" will have two variants. The lower RAM and smaller internal storage is expected to have a retail price of 2299 Yuan, around US$354, and the other variant will cost 2499 Yuan, roughly US$384.

More information is expected to arrive anytime soon.
