After the OnePlue One hit the market and earned the title of being the 'flagship killer,' focus is now on when its successor would come out. The expected name of its successor is said to be the OnePlue Two, and is something expected to offer better features than what the OnePlus One had initially offered.

To recall, the OnePlus One had made an impression with its top-of-the-line features. And word has it that the OnePlus Two will carry even more improvements. Among that could include features such as a 5.5-inch display (2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution), a Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM.

Rumors suggest as well that it would come with a 16MP back camera, improving on the OnePlus One's 13MP shooter.

As far as OS is concerned, such is being debated. Some say that the OnePlus Two would run on Android 5.0 Lollipop while others suggest that it may run on an Android ROM with the Oxygen OS. The OS is something that the company is currently working on ever since they cut their ties with Cyanogen.

As far as its external make is concerned, the OnePlus Two may come out using a metallic frame compared to the polycarbonate frame that the OnePlus One had.

CEO Carl Pei added as well that the OnePlus Two would come in different models per region (North America, Europe and Asia) to ensure a better range of mobile data network bands.

Pei further added that it may take six more months before the OnePlus Two could hit the market, placing it possibly somewhere between Q2 or Q3.

However there were initial reports of an earlier release date. Tech Radar bares that it could be on April 17, well inside the Q2 forecast but contradicting Pei's claim of a six-month allowance.
