One of the things that players love the most about "Overwatch" is the unique character roster it offers. Each hero comes with a distinct personality and their respective skill sets. Unfortunately, for those who have been expecting Doomfist's arrival, his arrival will not be happening anytime soon.

According to Express, Jeff Kaplan has finally shed some light on the ongoing rumors about the aforementioned hero coming to "Overwatch." Many believe that the character will be the next hero to arrive to the game, with actor Terry Crews doing the voice job. Kaplan, however, iterated otherwise.

Kaplan said that he and his team at Blizzard Entertainment are "very far along with hero number 25." Now, this is completely contrary to what most fans have been expecting. Interestingly though, he did not explicitly say that the hero is not coming. He simply stated that the character is far from being ready.

Other reports suggest that Doomfist will likely be released sometime this month, just a couple of days ahead of the supposed Anniversary Event. The latter is expected to arrive to the game come May 24, though the studio has yet to release an official announcement. Still, it is a date worth looking forward to.

Details about the next hero in "Overwatch" are quite scarce. It holds true, though, that Crews has been the only actor linked to the character. This is especially relevant with his recent visits to Blizzard's headquarters. But until this becomes official, his part in playing the role of the next hero should be taken with a grain of salt.

In related news, there are speculations revolving around the possibility of the video game company releasing two downloadable content (DLC) heroes for "Overwatch."

Telegiz reports that the heroes are named Bria and Ivon. The former is deemed as the smallest character in the roster, with the ability to see through certain sections of the maps. As for Ivon, he is believed to be a tank that hails from Russia. He is said to have the ability to summon robots as well as control them.
