PlayStation Plus rumors: What games may be featured in the March 2016 lineup?

 PlayStation Blog

There's only one week left in February, and what that means is that March's PlayStation Plus lineup should be announced soon.

Unfortunately, subscribers may have to wait just a bit more before Sony officially announces next month's lineup, although they will have a say in what one of those games will be.

Earlier this month, Sony announced that the Vote to Play initiative would be returning, and it has allowed subscribers to choose between one of three choices.

"Action Henk!" is one of the three choices, a 3D platformer that features a variety of toys coming to life and moving around in different environments. Players will also be able to unlock different skins for the playable characters in the game.

Subscribers also have the option of voting for "Assault Android Cactus." In this game, players will take control of androids as they attempt to make their way through various enemy-infested locations by shooting just about everything in sight.

Last up is "Broforce." In this game, players will be able to use different characters modeled after iconic action heroes as they shoot their way through several locations crawling with enemies.

A cursory glance at the comments section of a PlayStation Blog post containing trailers for all three Vote to Play titles would seem to suggest that more players are currently in support of "Broforce" eventually being named the free game for March.

Subscribers interested in voting for one of the three games will be able to do so until Feb. 22.

Aside from one of the Vote to Play titles, there will be other games included in the March lineup.

With "Street Fighter V" being released recently, there are those who speculate that "Ultra Street Fighter IV" will be featured in next month's lineup of free games.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will likely find out about the official March lineup within the next few days.
