The season finale of "Pretty Little Liars" is just around the corner and it looks like the final piece of the puzzle about "A's" identity is falling into place.

Viewers, however, will be shocked to know that the deranged killer who has terrorized the girls for many years may not be Charles DiLaurentis, but a different person entirely. Zap2it reports that "A" could be Dr. Wren Kingston, the psychopath doctor at Radley who has harbored a grudge against the Liars when they took Alison (Sasha Pieterse) away from him.

Much of the speculations on the said revelation started when an alleged former production assistant of the show claimed to know details of the upcoming season finale. AOL reports that the employee was fired by Warner Bros. for failing a drug test and promptly aired his grievances on Reddit.

The production assistant claimed that Wren was actually Charles and that he was not a doctor. His age was also the same as that of the DiLaurentis boy. After volunteering many years at Radley, his mother purportedly faked his suicide and then joined the hospital board to keep the secret.

Aside from information on "A," he also gave out other "details" about the show, saying Spencer (Troian Bellisario) was a patient at Radley when she was a child and knew Charles. Melissa (Torrey DeVitto) worked for Wren because she was guilty of burying Bethany Young alive. Alison and Emily (Shay Mitchell) would fall in each other's arms after their respective relationships came to an end.

Executive producer Marlene King took to Instagram to refute the said leaks, saying that no employee had been fired by the company. Meanwhile, Julian Morris, who plays Wren in the series, neither confirmed nor denied to Zap2it that his character could be "A." What he was emphatic about, however, was his confidence on King's plan regarding the season finale episode.

"I think whoever is the big villain, it's this iconic character in an iconic show, so I think whoever does end up being 'A' - whether it's more not - it'd be something amazing to play," he said.

"Pretty Little Liars" finale airs Aug. 11 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
