'Pretty Little Liars' season 6B air date, spoilers: Girls still haunted by 'A' trauma; Ezria reconciliation in the works

The girls come back more mature and career-oriented in the second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6. ABC Family

The million-dollar question on who "A" is will finally be answered in the midseason finale of ABC Family's hit suspense drama "Pretty Little Liars."

The upcoming episode titled "Game Over Charles" will reportedly clear up all the mystery on who Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson), and Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) tormentor really is. After years of torture, the real face of Charles DiLaurentis will be revealed and show creator Marlene King said "he" is not going to be some "random guy."

"Just watched the final playback of next week's finale. I'm still crying. And I still have goosebumps. You will see, hear and know who A is," King posted on her Twitter account.

When the show comes back for the second wave of season 6, the girls would be five years older. King shared a glimpse of what the Liars would be like post-time jump to Entertainment Weekly. She said there would be major changes in their wardrobe, hair and makeup, as these would now reflect "where they are professionally in their lives."

King also revealed that although the girls have been living "free lives" for those five years, the trauma of their past still continues to haunt them, and still has the power to affect the decisions that they make. She emphasized that the Liars would not be different people, just "a more grown-up versions of themselves."

The executive producer also hinted that although "A" was already unmasked by that time, it was not, by any means, the end of the series. King promised that there would be more mysteries and stories in store for the fans.

Meanwhile, Lucy Hale divulged some juicy information about Aria and Ezra for the upcoming season. Seventeen reveals that fans will be heartbroken to know that the time jump will see the two dating other people. The actress was quick to say, however, that the spark between them would still be there.

"They say goodbye to each other, they go and live their separate lives. He develops a relationship with a woman, and I'm with someone else. When they see each other again, it's just undeniable. I want like a big marriage episode, but we'll see."

"Pretty Little Liars" midseason finale airs on Aug. 11 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC Family. Season 6B is set to be released early 2016.
