As March 1 approaches, the tech world is getting more excited about Samsung's press event where the company is expected to take the veil off the heavily rumored Samsung Galaxy S6.

While the South Korean tech firm has not revealed the official specs and features of the Galaxy S6, there is a myriad of speculations on its possible specifications.

Below are the top five Samsung Galaxy S6 features based on the rumors floating around:

Better screen display, curved screen variant

Since Full HD resolution is now a thing of the not-so-distant past, mobile manufacturers are trying to gain an edge over their competitors by improving the screen display and boosting the resolution of their devices to quad HD. Moreover, taking cues from the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy S6 is said to also have a curved screen variant.

Brand new processor

Reports claim that the South Korean tech company had cut off its ties with its longtime partner, Qualcomm, for its processor. Samsung will reportedly rely on its homegrown octa-core Exynos 7420 processor with quad-core Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.3 GHz and quad-core Cortex-A57 running at 1.9 GHz.

Larger storage and bigger RAM

The Samsung Galaxy S6 is predicted to be available in 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage variants with microSD slot for additional storage of up to 128 GB. As for the RAM, the smartphone will most likely sport 3 GB.

Longer battery and wireless charging

While no definite battery capacity has been disclosed, there is a high possibility that the upcoming smartphone will have a longer battery life. Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S6 might also boast a wireless charging feature that will largely help in further prolonging the life of the smartphone.

Higher megapixels and better camera software

The successor of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to sport better cameras. The primary shooter of the Galaxy S6 is predicted have a 20-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. As for the front-facing camera, the handset is rumored to have a 5-megapixel full HD capture and dual video call feature.

The smartphone is expected to be announced on March 1 and there are speculations that it will be available for purchase on March 22.
