The Comic Con at San Diego witnessed a lot of happy news and shocking revelations. Fans of the CBS show "Scorpion" are in for a lot of spoilers as the cast members were particularly open at the convention. They gave out some great tidbits and sneak peeks into the third season that's all set to premiere on the 3rd of October, according to Movie News Guide.

As reported by Breathecast, Executive Producer Nick Wootten revealed at the Comic Con that "in terms of what's coming up this year, there's a lot of stuff. You're gonna get resolution on a lot of things. We start off the season, first episode back, is pretty much a direct pick-up from about a couple of hours from where we left off. So, we're gonna see what happens when Walter goes up to Tahoe. We're going to actually be taking characters in different directions as opposed to love interests."

Vine Report notes that the cast teased fans with news of a possible trip to outer space in the third episode of the new season. Katharine McPhee, who plays Paige on the show, revealed at the Comic Con that it was her favourite installment in the series so far.

Other spoilers suggest that the identity of Happy's husband, who has remained something of a mystery up until now, will finally be made public. At this point, the members of the cast toyed with fans, stating that this person was someone who had already been seen on the show.

Apparently, the plot in Season 3 also includes Walter, played by Elyes Gabel, going up to Lake Tahoe to meet up with Paige, and to confess his feelings for her. While fans are excited to see if the "Waige" pairing works out on the show, it came as sad news to learn that Gabel and McPhee, who had been in love, had split up in real life.
