"Sleepy Hollow" actors Tom Mison and new cast member Janina Gavankar seem to be getting along, giving fans a sample of their on-screen chemistry in an Instagram post made by the actress.

Mison — who plays the series' lead Ichabod Crane — and True Blood alum Gavankar, who will play his new partner in the series following the surprise death of beloved character Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) last season, recently attended the Dragon Con in Atlanta to the delight of fans of the show, reported IBTimes.

When the series returns to Fox for its fourth season, Ichabod will continue his mission in Washington, D.C. in search of a new witness who will aid him on his journey.

Gavankar will play the new witness — Homeland Security agent Diana Malhotra — who is also a single mom. Diana will originally have a shaky relationship with Ichabod as they will have different ways of accomplishing their objectives. At first, Diana will seem tough but the one person who will unveil her vulnerability will be her daughter.

Fans have not been so keen about the character because she seems too similar to another show's character: "Lucifer's" love interest Chloe Decker (Lauren German), who is working as a homicide detective with the LAPD. Like Diana, Chloe is also a single mother but production has expressed confidence in the new character .

Aside from Gavankar, new cast members have been confirmed to the show like "Lost" alum Jeremy Davies who will play a villain, Oona Yaffe as Diana's daughter Molly Thomas,  and Rachel Melvin as engineering marvel Alex Norwood. Jerry MacKinnon will star as Jake Wells, a person who catalogues supernatural phenomena in Washington.

While the show suffered from not so stellar ratings in its third season, Fox Entertainment President David Madden said that the network greenlighted the show's fourth season because production managed to pitch them a good idea and that Ichabod Crane had a lot more stories left to tell.
