'Sons of Anarchy' season 7: Jax in bigger trouble in episode 6? Will Juice kill Gemma?

The final season of "Sons of Anarchy" is getting better and better with gut-wrenching episodes week after week.

Season 7 episode 5 "Some Strange Eruptions" showed that the battle between SAMCRO and The Triad is far from over, and Jax Teller lost another important person in his life.

In that episode, Jax's mistress Colette died, but this is just the least of Jax's troubles. Now, he realizes the extent of damage he has done when he waged war against Lin's Triad. As Jax was talking to his son, it showed in his words how he felt responsible for protecting everyone at SAMCRO.

Nero and Jax also faced off when Nero punched Jax at Barosky's Shop. There, Jax came clean about Lin ordering the hit on Tara, which forced Nero to choose which side he would be on. Later, it was revealed that he had chosen SAMCRO, but then he went to Lin, saying that he would help them.  It was a set-up.

As for one of the most exciting parts of "Some Strange Eruptions," it was Gemma and Juice's scenes when Gemma tried to kill Juice in the middle of nowhere. Juice realized Gemma's plot and he swerved the car and pointed a gun at Gemma.

The next episode is entitled "Smoke 'em if You Got 'em." Season 7 episode 6 will show that mother and son, Gemma and Jax, are both in very vulnerable places and stages in their lives. Gemma's life is now in Juice's hands, while Jax faces the dire consequences of his actions.

The short official synopsis reads: "Jax takes advantage of shifting alliances to protect the MC and settle a score." That's about it and it really didn't say much at all.

But according to CarterMatt, this week will show Juice having the power over Gemma, and knowing if it is "within him to make one of his biggest and most dangerous moves to date." As for Jax, he "still firmly believes that Lin is responsible for killing Tara," despite Lin not having a clue about it.

"Sons of Anarchy" season 7 episode 6 will air on Oct. 14.
