Some of the rumored Sony Xperia Z4 features hint that the upcoming device will be the most powerful Xperia smartphone yet.

Android Origin cited "trusted sources" who stated that the Sony Xperia Z4 will come with a 5.5-inch screen panel with Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 64-bit architecture clocked at 2.8 GHz paired with 4 GB of RAM. The Xperia smartphone will be available in 32 GB storage variant and will also feature LTE Cat.6, Bluetooth 4.1, a dedicated amp for sexy sound, and an enhanced camera with a curved sensor.

It is a no brainer that the smartphone will run with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Moreover, with the improvements made by its rivals, the Sony Xperia Z4 will surely include a better camera with 4K video capture to be at par with other smartphones.

Sony is known for updating its Xperia line every six months. According to hearsays, the Sony Xperia Z4 release date will happen in March. The company will most likely announce the device at the Mobile World Congress 2015 event scheduled on Mar. 2 to 5. The said event was the launch window of the Sony Xperia Z2, thus it is most likely that the fourth generation of the device will appear on the said event.

However, according to Android Origin's sources, releasing a smartphone every six months is no longer necessary. The company reportedly realized that it saturated the market with its smartphones. Annual refreshes, on the other hand, is a different story.  Therefore, if the information proves to be accurate, then the Sony Xperia Z4 would be the only flagship smartphone the Japanese company would release in 2015.

However, Sony has yet to confirm these rumors, which is why Sony fans cannot wait for the release of this smartphone.
