As most people place their focus on other devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S6, another phone which should get its share of attention could be the Sony Xperia Z4.

Though not as popular, this would be the second time that leaked photos for the Sony Xperia Z4 would be coming out. Prominent is the display, which based on the rumors would not be that different from its predecessor, the Sony Xperia Z3.

The images appear consistent with earlier leaks though it remains to be proven if these leaked photos are indeed authentic. The photo shows off the LCD digitizer measuring 5.2 inches and assumingly has the much talked about QHD resolution.

Other than the display, the rumored specs for the said device have also cropped up. Among the potential specs of the Sony Xperia Z4 include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM.

The handset is also expected to carry a 21MP camera which will make use of Sony's IMX230 image sensor. The camera may also feature real-time HDR and phase detection autofocus. With regards to the OS, it is expected to come out with the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

With regards to battery, rumor has it that the Sony Xperia Z4 may come with a 3400 mAh battery which shoudl be good for about 8 hours.

Despite the expected preference of folks for Apple or Samsung devices, the Sony Xperia Z4 could be a darkhorse in the smartphone niche. And the fact that little has been divulged and that Sony had not shown off the Xperia Z4 at the MWC 2015 could spur up some curiosity and interest among smartphone users who want to check out alternative devices in the market.

Sony could make an official announcement for the Sony Xperia Z4 in the next couple of months although it would be safe to give it until the latter part of 2015.
