This week on "Teen Wolf," the pack started remembering Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), and Lydia (Holland Roden) also began having flashbacks of her last moment with the love of her life.

After Stiles was taken by the Ghost Riders, everybody forgot that he existed. But this week, Scott (Tyler Posey) couldn't seem to shake the feeling that something or someone was missing from his life. He thought that Liam's (Dylan Sprayberry) buckshot needed work, but it was Stiles who needed help with that. Scott also thought that someone was missing in the picture of him, Malia (Shelley Hennig), and Lydia. He also noticed Stiles' locker, and when he tried to open it, the mysterious new teacher stopped him from doing so.

Meanwhile, Lydia was having hallucinations of a train passing through her room. She began seeing her final moment with Stiles, only he wasn't there. She could hear his voice and feel him pulling her to safety, but she couldn't see him at all.

Later, Lydia and Malia got a call from Scott, who said that he thinks he had a best friend and that he was with him that night in the woods. Lydia said that she came to school that morning expecting to meet someone, but she couldn't remember who it was supposed to be. She added that she has been looking for him all day and whoever he is, she thinks that she loved him.

Using her powers to figure out who this missing person is, Lydia wrote the word "mischief" over and over until the letters formed to spell "Stiles." Elsewhere, Stiles' supposedly dead mother came back, and she looked very much alive as she reunited with Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby).

Speaking with TVLine, executive producer Jeff Davis said that they wanted to show what the Sheriff's life would be like without Stiles.

"A long time ago, we thought, 'What if he loses Stiles, but gets something back in return? What if he gets his wife back? What does that mean?'" said Davis. "That's a big part of the mystery, and we have a lot of fun with it."

Davis also said that fans will soon know what Stiles' first name is. The producer said that the word "mischief" is a definite clue to the character's name.

"That word was not chosen randomly," Davis teased.

Next week, in the episode titled "Sundowning," Scott, Lydia, and Malia search for Stiles, while Liam and the others try to keep a friend safe from the Ghost Riders.

"Teen Wolf" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
