The eagerly sought after "Tekken 7" was initially released by the company Bandai Namco as a limited edition arcade game in Japan in 2015. The game got attention and was popularized immediately overseas.

Following that, the company announced their plans to release a new arcade update this July 2016. They also mentioned that a PS4 version is going to be released this year. They have yet to announce any concrete release dates, so fans are fervently hoping for Bandai Namco to unveil the English version for the PS4 this year at the Electronic Entertainment Expo event in Los Angeles.

University Herald believes that it is extremely likely for the company to reveal more details and an official release date during E3 for "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." The company has also recently teased "never seen before" content for the PS4 version for this game. They may also reveal an Xbox One version for this game on the event. It is speculated that the E3 will be the best stage for this reveal since it is one of the biggest titles anticipated from Bandai Namco.

"Tekken 7" producer Katsuhiro Harada mentioned in an interview that this new game will go beyond anything seen from previous Tekken versions. The players who will own the console version are to expect a "gift" from the Tekken studio. There are also rumors about this game being supported by the PS4 Virtual Reality headset. Bandai Namco has not confirmed anything yet, but there will be definiet details on the E3 event next month.

Eager players may also participate at the London Comic Con 2016 to experience and test out the new "Tekken 7" firsthand. This popular U.K. event is held from May 27 to 29. Otherwise, players may learn more information on "Tekken 7" during the E3 in June.
