Fans will get their first look at "The 100" season 4 sooner rather than later, if the latest teases by executive producer Aaron Ginsburg are anything to go by.

When asked on Twitter about the trailer for the new season, the EP said, "The trailer is coming along great! We're perfectionists over here, and it's not perfect yet. Once it is, you'll see it. Promise," he tweeted.

A few days back, Ginsburg also teased the imminent release of "The 100" season 4 trailer. "We are working MADLY AWAY on an incredible trailer. It's not finished yet. But close. Prepare yourself," he wrote.

It is not a surprise that the trailer for the new season is already the focus of Ginsburg's team as the new season will premiere in February already.

The cast and crew are also deep into the production of "The 100" season 4. The EP even teased that this season holds the "most twisted, brutal" episode in the history of the post-apocalyptic series.

This might have to do with the warfare Ginsburg said will take place in "The 100" season 4 where there will be some violence and tons of extras.

Additionally, Ginsburg appears to have spent several hours in Thanksgiving Day writing "The 100" season 4 script although he did not elaborate on which episode it is for.

The new season will focus on Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and the group's battle to survive the nuclear apocalypse that ALIE (Erica Cerra) managed to launch before she was shut down.

Rumors have it that Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) will be different for the new season and that she will have a new man, which is interesting considering that she killed Pike (Michael Beach), and plans to kill more, to avenge Lincoln's (Ricky Whittle) death.

"The 100" season 4 will premiere on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
