Viewers will see a different side of Lucca (Cush Jumbo) on "The Good Fight" season 2.

Lucca begins this season with a full plate. Aside from being on track to become a partner at the firm, she is also pregnant with her first child. Her long list of responsibilities also include defending Maia (Rose Leslie) in her trial and having frequent encounters with her ex Colin (Justin Bartha).

Moving forward, Jumbo teased that Lucca will eventually start to realize that it's okay to show vulnerability sometimes. "She's gonna discover in herself that vulnerability doesn't always mean weakness and that strength isn't always a good thing when you try to go at everything alone, do everything yourself. Sometimes you need to ask for help," the actress explained to TV Guide.

She added, "It's a season where you get to know her even more deeply and you see these sides to her that you haven't before."

Entertainment Weekly announced on Thursday that Bebe Neuwirth will be part of the show's second season. After surprising fans of "Madam Secretary" last year when she announced her exit, the actress will now join the long list of character actors who play judges on "The Good Fight." Neuwirth has been tapped to play Hon. Claudia Friend, joining Rob Reiner and Denis O'Hare, who will also take on roles as judges in the drama.

In October, the 59-year-old's character announced her exit on "Madam Secretary" by stating, "I love public service, but it's gotten so vicious. Somehow, we've become our own worst enemy. And I don't want to spend the rest of my career fighting."

As previously reported, season 2 will touch on timely topics such as the Mueller investigation and white supremacy. Outside of politics, the series will also explore the "Bachelor in Paradise" controversy and Harvey Weinstein fallout.

"The Good Fight" season 2 airs every Sunday night at 3 a.m. EST on CBS All Access.
