The Witcher 3 XP Patch release date news: Coming by June 1, 2015

When it comes to embarking on missions for massive multiplayer games, the rewards players get are of utmost importance.

Unfortunately for the folks who have tried out The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, some may have already come across a glitch which experience points that are not given to players despite the successful completion of missions.

The said glitch seems to be affecting most (if not all) game consoles, seeing players who complete a mission six levels or more below their actual level receiving zero experience points which can be pretty disappointing.

The good news is that the said glitch is currently being addressed by the developers and a fix could be out by the time the next patch is released.

The said patch will reportedly start coming out by June 1, Monday for the PC after which other consoles will follow.

The glitch in mention is considered not severe if you take the word of CD Projekt RED's Community and Website Coordinator, Marcin Momot seriously. But then again, it would depend on how hardcore a player would be, hooked up to a game that renders practically no reward for all the hard work of completing a mission that isn't even at his level.

Apparently this is one glitch that was overlooked and though they consider it not severe, the fact remains that rewards and experience points are pretty much important for players who are into the game.

On whether the said glitch could affect gamers or not remains up in the air but it wouldn't be surprising to find out if some players prefer to shelve playing for now until the game fix has been applied and successfully addresses the players' concern.

The patch is days away so it should be interesting to see if the said problem has already been resolved. PC users will get first crack and it remains to be seen when the patch version for game consoles would follow.
