Avid fans of "Rainbow Six Siege" were in for a treat as they had early access to a bonus map in Ubisoft's latest downloadable content (DLC).

According to a report by Gamespot, the studio released the Bartlett University map for free with the "Operation Red Crow" DLC for pass holders last Nov. 17. Non-pass holders will get access to the DLC on Nov. 24.

It can be recalled that Bartlett University was a bonus map in single player mode that can be unlocked once players completed all Situations. Fans liked it so much that they requested for it to become a part of the multiplayer modes.

Based on the report, Ubisoft made it part of "Operation Red Crow" when it came out in the market. The DLC was the final update for the first season of DLCs.

Among the other features included in the DLC were the Skyscraper map, two new Japanese Operators, a Defender Echo that came with a flying drone that can cause chaos among enemies with its ultrasonic bursts, and the Hibana, which is an Attacker that has a launcher that fires charges that can breach even reinforced walls.

Aside from the free map, Ubisoft proved to its fans that it is listening to their clamor and announced that gamers still have plenty to look forward to even as this set of DLCs concludes.

"The past year has been an incredible journey, and we are excited to have you join us for another full year of content!," Ubisoft announced via Twitter.

The first set of DLCs included "Operation Black Ice," "Operation Skull Rain," and "Operation Dust Line," and most recently, "Operation Red Crow."

Ubisoft seems to be merely giving back to the fans who have brought their games much success after its titles "Rainbow Six Siege," "The Division," and "The Crew" have reached more than 10 million users while "Rainbow Six Siege" alone posted a 40 percent boost after the release of "Operation Skull Rain."
