Usher's son was rushed to the intensive care unit on Monday after a pool-related accident.

The latest incident comes just a year after the Grammy winner's stepson Kile Glover tragically died after being hit in the head by a jet ski at a beach.

Five-year-old Usher Raymond V is currently being treated at the ICU in an Atlanta hospita. According to TMZ, the boy's arm had gotten caught in the drain of a pool at his father's home while he was playing with his aunt.

The boy dove underwater to retrieve a pool toy but had his arm caught in the process. The boy's aunt, Usher's sister, immediately swam down to help the boy but was not able to do anything. A maid also came to try and help but she screamed for help when she couldn't do anything. Two men that had been working in the house rushed to the scene, dove into the pool and was able to free the boy from the drain.

The boy was given CPR and taken to hospital.

Upon hearing the news, Usher, who was not at home at the time of the incident, rushed to home immediately and was in the ambulance with his son when he was taken to hospital.

Usher Raymond V's mother Tameka Raymond also joined them at the hospital.

The boy is reportedly in 'OK' condition and he remains in the hospital as doctors continue to test the boy.

Usher's stepson Kile Glover passed away after suffering a brain injury from a boating accident on July 6, 2012. He was taken off life support on July 21, after doctors determined that he would not awake from his coma and recover from his injuries.

Last year, Usher was granted primary custody of his two sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd, after a bitter divorce battle with ex-wife Tameka Raymond.
