Years after "Valkyria Chronicles 3," the fourth game of the franchise is finally coming out soon. People have been waiting for more news of the game, and that prayer has recently just been answered. Fans of the series would love the latest trailer as it definitely gives that familiar feeling of the franchise.

According to GamingBolt, developer Sega was doing a livestream in Tokyo where they first showed an hour-long clip full of gameplay footage. The tactical strategy game will apparently have new mechanics. In some of the combat scenes in the footage, it featured Ragnite boxes, avalanches, and a few others.

It also sheds some light to the update that was made just to the game's website just a few days ago. One of the highlights of the new changes made would be a new class, the grenadier. In the footage, fans see what the description says on the website.

In fact, most of the updates displayed on the website were seen in the footage. Engineers were also given a short spotlight for being able to progress to new areas. One part even shows the engineer being able to repair the stairs providing a new path. Tanks and cruisers can also now be customized with stickers again. Players' squad members even have their own side missions, as Sega did promise before.

Putting the game's additions and new features aside, the whole gameplay of "Valkyria Chronicles 4" seems to be similar to that found in the very first title. This may have been an important step for the developers, as the games in between "Valkyria Chronicles 3" and this new game were not exactly received well like the "Valkyria Revolution."

"Valkyria Chronicles 4" will be out for the latest consoles PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 21, 2018. The Nintendo Switch version will be coming a bit later.
