A new teaser for "Vikings" season 4 has been released as the show prepares to grace this year's San Diego Comic Con to be held this week.

There's not much to take away from the short clip, but it did give a good glimpse of the beloved characters moving into the second half of "Vikings" season 4.

Of note is Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick), who sported a new hairstyle in the teaser, which proves that the shieldsmaiden is back and ready to strike back at Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland), who left her for dead in the first half of the season.

Winnick offered a closer look at her new do in one of her Instagram posts, where she referred to Lagertha's hair in "Vikings" season 4 as "art."

Fans feared the worst for Lagertha when the first half of "Vikings" season 4 wrapped up. However, series creator Michael Hirst said that the character is the soul of the show, making her too important to be killed off.

With Lagertha not the kind to back down in a fight, the "Vikings" season 4 teaser not only previews her triumphant return. The teaser also shows Lagertha is back and better than ever.

It is unclear if the same can be said about Ragnar (Travis Fimmel), who looks old in the teaser.

In the first half of "Vikings" season 4, the king left Kattegat and came back an old man, ready to find his successor. Judging from the teaser, it looks like Ragnar is not losing the white long beard anytime soon.

The "Vikings" season 4 Comic Con teaser also offered a quick look at other characters such as Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) and Ivar the Boneless (Alex Hogh Andersen), who is being groomed as Ragnar's successor.

Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard), Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith), Hvitserk (Marco Ilso), Sigurd (David Lindstrom) were also shown in the short clip.

"Vikings" season 4 is set to return later this year. The panel for the series at SDCC will be held on Friday, July 22 at 5:45 p.m. PT at Room 6BCF of the San Diego Convention Center.

More recently, I’ve enjoyed Christian movies Unsung Hero and Jesus Revolution on limited release in the UK, but it’s rare for such films to make the multiplex chains.
