Previously, Ubisoft has confirmed that the upcoming sequel "Watch Dogs 2" will be launched on all announced platforms simultaneously. However, it is now revealed that the PC version of the game will get a delayed launch.

In a blog post, Ubisoft has announced that the "Watch Dogs 2" for PC will be released on Nov. 29. The new release date is at least two weeks from the original launch date of Nov. 15. However, the developer also clarified that the delay is only for the PC version and that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be released as scheduled.

Ubisoft also clarified that instead of a setback, the delayed release of "Watch Dogs 2" for the PC is actually an advantage for players. The developer stated that the delayed release was made "to ensure that these and other features are polished and optimized to meet the development team's standards."

The fine-tuning of the game's PC version is indeed much more than Ubisoft expected since the development teams have added some changes and improvements on the title. Ubisoft adds that with the new release date, PC fans waiting for "Watch Dogs 2" will be satisfied with the result. The developer enumerates some of the expected improvements as, "Watch Dogs 2 features a multitude of PC-specific enhancements, including support for full 4K resolution with Ultra Textures and Extra Details options; an uncapped framerate; and a host of other features and options specifically requested by the Watch Dogs 2 community."

Although Ubisoft has delayed the PC release of the game, the minimum and recommended specs for "Watch Dogs 2" has been released. The minimum specs requirement include at least 6 GB of RAM and 50 GB of storage, as well as a Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 with 2 GB VRAM. For those who wish to check out the 4K gameplay, at least 8 GB of RAM is required, with either GTX 1060 3-GB or its equivalent AMD Radeon R9 290 4-GB as GPU.
