'Watch Dogs 2' release date; Ubisoft reveals new gameplay

There are already plans to release "Watch Dogs 2," and it was reported that it will be launched in the summer of 2016.

New details about the rumored "Watch Dogs 2" have emerged, and reports claim that the successor of "Watch Dogs" will be released in 2016 to PC, PS4, and Xbox One consoles. However, the date is still tentative.

Moreover, it is said that the game will add nine locations: Tokyo, Singapore, New York, Dubai, San Francisco, Silicon City, Stockholm, Beijing, and London. It was reported that New York and New Jersey will be added to "Watch Dogs 2," but New Jersey was already added as a form of update to the first Watch Dogs game.

Drastic changes are expected in the new "Watch Dogs" game. Gamers think that the first version needs several aspects such as more weapons, more quests, and more gameplay features. Ubisoft developers hinted that more destructive weapons will be included in "Watch Dogs 2." In addition, the sequel will rival the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto V" in terms of graphics, plot, storyline, locations, side-missions, and users' activities.

Ubisoft Montreal's vice president of creative, Lionel Raynaud, compared the game to the first version of "Assassin's Creed," in which some players complained of the bugs and issues that plagued the game when it was first released. He admitted to CVG that the current "Watch Dogs" has flaws and the company will tackle these flaws, and they will surprise the players with the updates.

"Watch Dogs" follows the story of hacker Aiden Pearce who uses technology and his hacking abilities to turn Chicago into a weapon against his adversaries. Ubisoft released the game on May 27, and it has numerous features to be unlocked to help the player throughout the game. The game topped the charts last summer. "Watch Dogs" is currently available for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC for $59.99.
