"Westworld" is one of HBO's most successful shows right now, and it is garnering positive reviews from fans and critics alike. The show has also been renewed for season 2, and the creators have already mapped its events from season 1 to its finale five or six years down the line. Fortunately, the season 1 finale won't comprise of a cheap cliffhanger, and instead, it will actually give fans some answers.

Speaking to TV Line, actor Jimmi Simson, who plays William on the show, explained he himself was on the edge of his seat trying to fit the pieces together until the script for the finale episode was given to him. Episode 10, titled "The Bicameral Mind," is confirmed to resolve some of the mysteries that fans have been asking.

"What they've done is they've somehow tied up everything you wanted to know and then pointed this whole world of other [expletive] that you hadn't really thought of that now you really, really want to know, too," he explained. "It's not some [expletive] cliffhanger where you're like, 'Oh [expletive], what now?' It's like, 'Oh my God, thank you, and I can't wait for more,'" he went on to say.

As noted by Vanity Fair, there have been several mysteries and theories surrounding the show, such as the fate of Arnold and the identity of the Man in Black (Ed Harris). Some theories suggest the show is actually portraying multiple timelines and that the Man in Black is the older version of William.

With the season 1 finale giving fans some form of conclusion while still opening the doors for season 2, it is speculated that the second season will then dive into further events like Maeve (Thandie Newton) escaping the park or the park getting shut down before it is reopened again in season 2.

There are three episodes left for season 1 as of writing. Episode 8, "Trace Decay," will air on Nov. 20. It will be followed by "The Well-Tempered Clavier" on Nov. 27. The finale episode airs Dec. 4.
