Action-adventure first-person shooter (FPS) game "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus" was released back in October 2017 for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and PC. With the Nintendo Switch's success, it is then no surprise that publisher Bethesda has decided to put the game on the console as well.

The port to the Nintendo Switch will also be co-developed by Panic Button who has also helped in porting "DOOM" and "Rocket League" to the console. "Wolfenstein II" for the Switch is not entirely new as Bethesda already announced this in January this year. However, since then, they have not mentioned any details, until now.

Bethesda's decision to release "Wolfenstein II" might not be news to fans. The publishing company has already placed most of their games including high-profile games such as "Skyrim" and "DOOM" on the Switch. It is just about time before they do the same to their other games.

For those who have not noticed it yet, the Nintendo is getting more and more violent or rather mature games for their successful Switch. This follows their prior announcement that they are open to receiving these types of games more as more mature players are definitely getting the console as well since its earlier owners were of younger audiences.

As for "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus" itself, the game considerably has a big player base. Before its release, it gathered up steam due to a controversial issue of the game's story being about Nazis and punching them in the face. However, the story of the game itself is pretty straightforward and is one that gamers should definitely try out.

"Wolfenstein II" is coming out on the Nintendo Switch soon. It should presumably come with its downloadable content, "The Diaries of Agent Silent Death," which many players think makes the game quite enjoyable to play.
