WWE rumors 2015: Bret Hart compares Roman Reigns to Kevin Nash [VIDEO]

Roman Reigns is facing a possible dilemma, a familiar situation that dates back to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Royal Rumble.

On his own, the Big Dog had been making big strides but the rush of the moment may have ruined his momentum. At that time, the WWE had wanted to catapult the former Shield member, but the timing was a bit way off. And that resulted in the WWE Universe decrying the push, despite the numerous efforts to try and mend the broken storyline.

WWE legend Bret Hart has been around long enough to share his thoughts and he has seen wrestlers follow the same route. One such person is Kevin Nash aka Diesel and Big Daddy Cool.

Nash started out as a mystery body guard to Shawn Michaels in the 90s and eventually became World Wrestling Federation (WWF)/WWE champion which according to Hart in an interview with Sports Illustrated, came a wee bit too soon.

In essence, Hart feels that Reigns is following the route too soon and that such could eventually prove costly. From hindsight, it does seem to appear that way. With Vince McMahon wanting the fast transition of Reigns (apparently due to the poor ratings), the latter could end up following the same route of being champion a bit too soon.

He did however cite the case of Steve Austin who would have fallen prey to the same tactic. Austin was on the rise but the Rattlesnake stepped up and somehow wanted to make the shift as subtle as possible.

And as everyone knows, Austin is one of the big draws of the WWE to date.

Summing it all up, Reigns is looming to be another victim of bad booking. At this stage, shunning him yet again can equally be destructive.

Will the WWE push through with the Reigns' rein or will it be another raw push that could see Reigns falling short of being the good wrestler that many perceive him to be?

Well, it all starts at WWE Survivor Series, which will take place today, Sunday, starting at 8 p.m. EST. Will he be the champion or will it be another classic disappointment for the Big Dog?
