    Xia-Maria Mackay serves as the Editor of Christian Today. Ms Mackay has extensive experience in the Christian media industry, first working with Christian Today in 2005. She has held a variety of roles within the company, and has also spent time abroad, working in Christian media in the United States. Ms Mackay has previously held office within the Communications Department of the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA), which serves Christians in more than 120 countries worldwide. She has also acted as a Media Consultant for the Global Day Of Prayer.

  • David Robertson

    David Robertson is former Moderator of the Free Church of Scotland and minister of St Peters Free Church in Dundee, the original church of Robert Murray McCheyne.

    He is also the associate director of the Solas Centre for Public Christianity. He is the author of “Awakening”, a book on the life of McCheyne, “The Dawkins Letters”, “Quench”, “Magnificent Obsession”, and “Engaging with Atheists”.

  • David Baker

    David Baker is the Rector of East Dean, Friston and Jevington near Eastbourne, having trained in theology at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. Before going into full-time ordained ministry, he was a journalist for five years with the Leicester Mercury. He has been a contributor to Christian Today since 2012.

  • Dr Rowan Williams

    Dr Rowan Williams was Archbishop of Canterbury from 2002 to 2012, having previously been the Archbishop of Wales. He currently serves as the Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge. He speaks or reads nine languages, including Welsh, and Russian which he learned in order to read the works of Dostoevsky in the original. In addition to being a respected authority on poetry, he has written widely on theology, literature and philosophy.

  • Henrietta Blyth

    Henrietta Blyth worked for Christian development agency Tearfund for six years as their People and Organisational Development Director before being appointed as the CEO of InterHealth Worldwide, where she served until 2017. She is now CEO of Open Doors UK & Ireland where she is passionate about serving the persecuted church worldwide.

  • Dr Peter Saunders

    Dr Peter Saunders was a general surgeon in his native New Zealand, as well as Kenya and the UK, where he eventually settled. He was until 2018 the Chief Executive of the Christian Medical Fellowship and is now CEO of the International Christian Medical and Dental Association (ICMDA). He is also Director of Care Not Killing, an alliance of organisations campaigning against assisted dying.

  • R David Muir

    David is Head of Whitelands College and a former Home Office adviser on policing, diversity and community relations. Other past roles include Director of the Humanities Programme at London Metropolitan University (LMU) and Executive Director for Public Theology and Public Policy at the UK Evangelical Alliance. David currently convenes the Pentecostal Network and is a Co-Chair of the National Church Leaders' Forum (NCLF). He is an executive member of the Transatlantic Roundtable on Religion and Race (TRRR).

  • Peter Lynas

    Peter is the Director of the Evangelical Alliance in Northern Ireland, and is passionate about faith in the public square and in the workplace. Peter worked as a barrister in Belfast for five years, before completing his M.Div at Regent College in Vancouver, where he now serves on the Board. He is a regular commentator in the media and has taught at Westminster Theological Centre and Belfast Bible College. He is married to Rose, has two daughters, loves running and hates fish.

  • Dr Irene Lancaster

    Dr Irene Lancaster is a writer, historian and broadcaster, specialising in the Old Testament, Hebrew and Israel. She is a former teacher and research fellow at the Centre for Jewish Studies in the Department of Religions and Theology at Manchester University. She is the chair of the Broughton Park Jewish-Christian Dialogue Group and former executive member of the Foundation for Reconciliation in the Middle East. She was the official translator from the Hebrew of the autobiography of Shear Yashuv Cohen, Chief Rabbi of Haifa (Rabbi Shear Yashuv Cohen of Haifa: Between War and Peace, Urim, 2017). She is also accredited by Yad Vashem, Jerusalem, as a Holocaust educator and her writing has been appeared in The Times, The Tablet and the Church Times.

  • Kay Morgan-Gurr

    Kay Morgan-Gurr has been in full-time ministry for over 26 years, having initially trained with Scripture Union. She is a previous director of Children Worldwide and today is Chair of the Children Matter Coalition. In addition to being the co-founder of the Additional Needs Alliance, she is a member of the Evangelical Alliance Council and the Home for Good Council of Reference. She is also the Disability and Additional Needs Adviser to Spring Harvest.
