Since the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro was unveiled during the recently held New York International Auto Show back in March, the company has been gradually releasing details about the upcoming new generation muscle car to the delight of would-be buyers.

The new model itself has undergone a subtle facelift, but all the changes seem to have been made in all the right places, making the 2017 model one of the most sexiest Camaros yet.

The new model will be available in a variety of ranges, starting off with the base 1LT Manual Coupe sporting a 2.0-liter four cylinder turbo engine. The range then moves up to the 1SS Coupe, then to the range topping Camaro ZL1 Coupe which is priced at $61,140 and $67,140 for the top-down convertible version. The top-end version also gets the company's 6.2-liter supercharged small block V8 which churns out 640 horsepower and 650lb-ft of torque.

A new change for the 2017 model is a new exterior color option that has recently been teased by General Motors and only reserved for the LT and the SS models. The new color option has been dubbed "Krypton Green" and is an eye-catching paint job that should make several heads turn.

The new model Camaro will also be getting a few upgrades this year such as new Brembo front brakes equipped with six-piston calipers that are straight out of the Cadillac ATS-V. The SS model also gets a dual-mode exhaust upgrade and a newly tuned suspension that is present in the ZL1 model. Magnetic Ride Control, as well as other safety features, are also standard.

To create further demand for the new Camaro, General Motors is offering a $1,500 rebate for customers who currently own or are leasing a Mustang. Customers are not required to surrender their vehicle to qualify for the incentive. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be available in dealerships sometime around December.
