33Miles to release first Christmas album Believe

On the heels of releasing their third studio album, Today, 33Miles will be releasing their first, full-length Christmas record titled Believe.

"Christmas is my absolute favourite time of year,” explains 33Miles’ Jason Barton. “Chris and I have both wanted to make a Christmas record since childhood."

The ten track album features holiday classics such as “Joy to the World” and “O Holy Night” alongside original tunes including “Finally Christmas”.

“O Come All Ye Faithful (Sing to the King)” and “I Believe In Christmas” will be released to radio for the Christmas season.

“’O Come All Ye Faithful’ is such a glorious reminder to Christians that this season is a celebration of Christ. It’s not about presents, music, holiday movies, or anything else,” says 33Miles’ Chris Lockwood. “It's about the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. More than ever, Christians need to rally and show the true meaning of Christmas, which is the selfless love of our Saviour.

"'I Believe In Christmas' is a declaration/prayer for those who have lost hope due to the hard circumstances that life throws at us,” adds Barton. “Christmas is hope and that hope is Jesus Christ!”

33Miles’ Today released on Oct. 5 and was produced by Ian Eskelin (Francesca Battistelli, Stellar Kart) and Nathan Nockels (Passion, Phillips, Craig & Dean). Today features 10 new songs with an overarching theme of encouraging listeners to make the most of their present time.

33Miles is comprised of Jason Barton and Chris Lockwood. The band has received multiple GMA Dove Award nominations, including one for “New Artist of the Year” for their self-titled debut. They have released three albums with INO Records to date: a self-titled debut, One Life and their most recent, Today. The band also unveiled a Christmas project which released nationally this fall. 33Miles’ aggressive touring schedule includes nearly 150 dates a year, many with long time sponsors and ministry partners Food for the Hungry.
