Abundant Life releases new album, Name Above All Names

Abundant Life Ministries has released its latest album featuring new songs written by the Abundant Life staff including worship leaders Mark Stevens, Matt Hooper and Jock James.

Boasting 10 powerful songs, Name Above All Names has but one main, vital message: hope. Hope for the broken, hope for the destitute and hope for the wretched. In fact, the title of the album is one which shows the greatest hope of all: that the name of Jesus Christ is still ruling and reigning.

And as Jock James makes clear, this message reflects his church's heart towards the northern city in which it is situated - Bradford.

"Bradford's in the news for all the wrong statistics; poverty, racial tension, human trafficking, drug abuse; it's everything you don't want to be in the press for," the songwriter explains.

"But what God is doing here is so amazing. As we look out and worship and see our congregation, we see changed lives, ex-drug addicts and former prostitutes, and that's the story we want to tell."

Name Above All Names was recorded in-studio in Nashville, USA and in Bradford, with the help of Dove Award-winning producer Bernie Herms, known for his work with Casting Crowns, Phillips, Craig & Dean, Selah and Brad Paisley.

It will be released internationally on the Integrity Music label to more than 160 countries, with a UK release date of 30 May.
