Google seems to be preparing for the release of Android 6.0 Marshmallow during the company's big event on Sept. 29.

Based on the invites sent by the Mountain View, California-based tech giant, the latest version of the Android mobile operating system will be unveiled during the event that will be held in San Francisco. The invite features Google's brand-new logo together with the tagline, "Join us for some tasty new treats and much s'more." 

As s'mores is known as a dessert made with marshmallows, the tagline is said to refer to the highly anticipated public release of the new Google OS for mobile devices. 

Neurogadget recently reported that the soon-to-be released Nexus 5X device will showcase all the latest features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which include: 

• Fingerprint reader and Android Pay – The fingerprint sensor will reportedly be featured in the new edition of the Nexus 5 for better security. It will also come in handy when using the Android Pay app for purchasing items sans cash. 
• Doze – This is Google's clever way to help extend the device's battery life. This is done by putting all the unused apps into sleep mode. 
• Save and recover files through Google Drive – With the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, all files on any Android operating device can be easily saved using the built-in option for Google Drive. 
• Now on Tap virtual secretary – Apple's Siri and Microsoft's Cortana will have a new rival with the release of Google Now's successor. It works by pressing the home key of the handset running on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It will immediately send relevant information. 
• USB Type-C – The latest type of connector will allow users to charge their device three to five times faster.
