More and more Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates continue to pour in. After days of soak testing the software, Motorola officially rolled out Google's latest mobile operating system to its very own Moto X Style.

Reports indicate that users in the U.K. should be able to download the update, which weighs 650 MB. Unfortunately, it remains unclear which particular areas or regions the firmware is being rolled out to. Users who are yet to receive it can always check its availability on the device's Settings.

Meanwhile, the Moto X Style's U.S. variant Moto X Pure Edition (2015) has already received Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Units from Verizon, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular should have the operating system on board by this time.

As for owners of the carrier versions of HTC One M9 in Canada, Android 6.0 Marshmallow won't be available until early next year. The unlocked editions of the 5-inch smartphone, however, should be able to make the jump to the sweet new update this month.

The reason behind the longer wait for those who obtained their units from the carriers is that they will need approval by the companies involved. Techno Buffalo notes that Telus customers with the handset will be able to get the software by Jan. 21.

Back in October, the carrier made public its Android 6.0 Marshmallow release schedule and listed that the HTC One M9 will be upgraded on the abovementioned date. With that said, Telus users won't have to wait that long before they get to enjoy Marshmallow.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with an all new power management feature called Doze. It also offers a brand new app permission system among others. It does not have a lot of design tweaks but the update promises tweaks for the overall performance and stability of the smartphone.

As for the new emojis that come in the newer build of Marshmallow (Android 6.0.1), this will entail a lot of waiting for HTC One M9 users.
