Angelina Jolie is missing someone in her life following her divorce from Brad Pitt. The actress confessed being a single parent who is surviving the breakdown of her marriage while raising six kids would be less overwhelming if her mom, Marcheline Bertrand, were still alive.

Jolie got emotional about her mother in a new interview with Elle France. Jolie lost her mom to cancer in January 2007, just a year after she give birth to her first biological child, Shiloh, with Pitt.

"I know how much she would have contributed to their lives and I am sad they will miss out on that," Jolie said. "I would give anything for her to be with me at this time," she confessed, adding that whenever she needed her mom, she would "talk" to her in her mind.

The mother-of-six recently celebrated Shiloh's 11th birthday. Jolie and the kids, minus their father, were spotted at Disneyland in California. Shiloh had friends from Cambodia as guests, People reported.

They both agreed to stop their public squabble in the press for the sake of their children.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016 and sought for full custody of their kids, Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara,12, Shiloh and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
