There are speculations that the next smartphone from Apple, which is said to be the iPhone 6s, is going to be released on Sept. 9, the same day its current flagships were launched last year. A couple of retailers already have the new iPhone on pre-order even before the company makes it official.

German carrier Deutsche Telekom already put up an early bird system for those interested in getting the latest iPhone. The company, however, does not mention if it is an iPhone 6s, an iPhone 6s Plus or even an iPhone 7, but asks customers who sign up to choose their preferred delivery system.

According to MacRumors, the launch of this pre-order system isn't a blunder by the carrier, at least based on its patterns on releasing such. The publication says that before the iPhone 4s was released, Deutsche Telekom launched the same pre-order system a month prior.

The other company that has the iPhone 6s already on offer is Brikk. The retailer already has a pre-order promo for a diamond-encrusted version of the flagship it calls the Lux iPhone 6s and is priced at an eye-popping value of $199,995.00.

The site guarantees that the deluxe iPhone 6s version will be made available four to six weeks after Apple releases the flagships. It considers Sept. 9, which is currently what many believe will be the day Apple will lift the veil off of its new offerings, as a placeholder date.

That said, this diamond-encrusted device is expected to be seen on Sept. 23 at the earliest. The retailer touts that its Lux iPhone 6s has "two layers of pure 24k yellow gold, 18k pink gold, or 950 platinum." Every unit, the site says, will be polished, plated and assembled by Brikk itself.

Currently, Apple has yet to say a word about the iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus. There's no confirmation that it will introduce the devices on Sept. 9 but if it does, the handsets are expected to come with Force Touch, more RAM, and an upgrade camera.
