The long awaited revelation of Apple's new batch of mobile phones may take center stage in a couple of weeks after Apple sent out media invites to a special event, which will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on Sept. 9.

The event is, of course, expected to lift the curtains on the two new iPhones, the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus.

If you have been following rumors, the new batch of iPhone variants will come in a reinforced body featuring a stronger 7,000 Series aluminum. Aside from that, the new iPhones will also draw power from an A9 processor backed by 2 GB of RAM as well as a highly touted new camera.

According as well to a previous post here on Christian Today, it has been rumored that the devices will come in two display sizes 4.4 inches and 5.5 inches, a wireless system that is touted to offer faster browsing of up to 150 mbps, and a bigger battery, which could explain why the device will be a thicker.

Aside from the expected unveiling of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, word has it that Apple will also be showing off the next-generation Apple TV. It will also come in a new chassis and feature a touch-based remote control. The new Apple TV will also reportedly come with Apple Siri support and a full App Store.

Other matters that could be highlighted include that of the iOS9 and the watchOS 2. The event could see the launch of the two operating systems ahead of their final public launch.
