Apple has updated its product line-up with a new Macbook and iMac.

With its promise to provide fans and consumers with top-of-the-line flagships, the Cupertino-based company has updated its 15-inch Macbook Pro with Retina Display. This week, the company has released the new Macbook that features the new Force Touch technology.

The 15-inch device incorporates a Force Touch trackpad. This new trackpad introduces a new haptic interface to the user, with the built-in sensors helping Apple fans customize the way they click and the amount of pressure required for each interaction with their Macbooks. The new trackpad also supports a new range of gestures, particularly the Force click.

Aside from the new trackpad, the new 15-inch Macbook also comes with a faster flash storage and a longer battery life, letting the new Macbook run up to nine hours of continuous wireless Web browsing or iTunes movie playback. In addition, the Retina Display incorporates a new AMD graphics card for faster performance especially with graphics-heavy work such as 3D rendering or editing high-resolution images.

Meanwhile, Apple also saw it fit to update its iMac line-up. The new iMac now has a Retina 5K display, with a stunning 5120 x 2880 resolution. Under the hood, the iMac also got an upgrade with a new quad-core Intel Core i5 processor incorporating a Turbo Boost Speed feature. This means that the standard 3.3 GHz clocked speed of the device can now be maximized up to 3.7 GHz. In addition, the new Apple computer now has an upgraded AMD Radeon graphics, 8 GB of memory, and 1 TB of storage.

The new iMac has two variants, the standard one for $1,999 and the high-end iMac with Fusion Drive for $2,299. Both versions are now available at the Apple Store.
