Batman goes out of Gotham City and comes to mobile phones, as the vigilante superhero joins the roster of characters available in the mobile multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game "Arena Of Valor."

The Dark Knight is set to be the first DC superhero to be included in the list of 36 other playable characters in the game. He will also be a permanent addition and will be free for all players. Interested players have been able to acquire the Caped Crusader since yesterday, Nov. 10.

Although Batman is a human without supernatural powers, the developers of the game have made him a formidable force in the arena, filling in the role of a damage-per-second (DPS) specialization character. Batman will have a high burst damage in the game, making him effective for ambushes and ganks. He will also be able to escape and move out of harm's way easily with his good speed and utility skills.

Batman is best used at the start of an encounter where his high damage can soften up the targets for the rest of his teammates to finish. After doing initial burst damage, he can then come in and out of the battlefield easily and act as support for other players who might be struggling or chasing kills. The hero is expected to be one of the popular picks due to his overall usefulness in a team.

Earlier last month, Batman's arch-nemesis, The Joker, was also added to the roster of playable characters in the mobile game. This makes them the two only two characters from the DC universe to join the MOBA. This time, though, they can team up against other players. Other DC characters expected to join the roster are Superman and Wonder Woman, though no exact dates have been announced.

Batman is now available for free on "Arena of Valor," and the MOBA is available on Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch.
