After a not-so impressive fourth season, "Arrested Development" will try to rebound with a 17-episode fifth season on Netflix. Such was confirmed through an interview by producer Brian Grazer for the said comedy-televisions series.

Apparently, Season 4 wasn't able to sustain the success that the first three seasons of "Arrested Development" brought. Season 4 did offer some good episodes (first 6 to be exact) but apparently the remaining ones weren't exactly up to par if you compare it to the previous three seasons. Apparently there was a question of focus, something that somehow became divided during the previous season.

For those who were able to catch it, a season five, despite all the criticism, was apparent. There were simply a lot of loose ends that needed answers. This included on whether Lucille 2 was dead. If she is, who was behind it?

There is also that question on whether Buster would go to jail and also that angle involving Michael vs. George Michael. Those and expectedly a whole lot of new plots and twists are expected for the fifth season, which can hopefully get back to the time when it was overly credible in the eyes of viewers.

It will be recalled that "Arrested Development" didn't necessarily start on the right foot. But despite a so-so debut, the series has become a benchmark and reason for other shows such as "30 Rock," "The Office" and "Modern Family" among others.

Further, Netflix has had a lot to do with it. With the series available on live streaming platforms such as Netflix and Hulu, this feature allowed it to reach a wider audience. It was actually Netflix's most watched show for a time being.

With regards to when "Arrested Development" Season 5 would come out is still kept under wraps for now although Grazer's comments could hint that Netflix would announcing all that soon.
