The CW has yet to reveal a specific date for the premiere of "Arrow" season 4, which distresses fans who are dying to know when Oliver will don his hood again or if he ever will, after saying "something crazy" along the lines of "I'm happy" as he starts a new life with his lady love Felicity.

However, there are rumors floating around that the new season of the successful DC Comics-inspired series will premiere on Oct. 7 this year. The CW has established a pattern of debuting new seasons of the show the night before the New York Comic Con and media outlets don't see any reason for the network to change things.

The "Arrow" pilot episode was aired Oct. 10, 2012. The second season debuted Oct. 9 in 2013. The third season premiered Oct. 8 last year. Den of Geek is convinced that Oliver Queen and the gang will be back on Oct. 7. The CW has not made this official, though, but the theory seems flawless.

With "Arrow" season 4, Oliver is expected to deal with Damien Darkh, Ra's Al Ghul's nemesis who is believed to be the head of a criminal organization called H.I.V.E., which happens to be the same group that ordered the murder of John Diggle's brother.

Speaking of Diggle, Oliver has to patch things up with his right-hand man, who still cannot get over his anger toward his friend who had his wife kidnapped when he was playing charades with the Demon's Head to take the League of Assassins from the inside.

Diggle is also speculated to wear Green Lantern's mask in "Arrow" season 4, but what makes this whole new run exciting and complicated at the same time is that Felicity may be linked to the newest baddie in Starling City. There are rumors that Oliver's love may be Damien Darkh's daughter.

Meanwhile, "Punisher: War Zone" director Lexi Alexander is helping out in the production by helming an episode for the new season. The acclaimed director revealed her new gig via Twitter and expressed her excitement.

The official synopsis for "Arrow" season 4 tells about Oliver's journey, his new team without Roy and with Thea, and goes on to talk about how the "uneasy alliances and rivalries will shift as Oliver faces his most difficult challenge yet."
