"Assassin's Creed Origins," Ubisoft's latest installment to the action-adventure series featuring the "Assassins" and the "Templars," has just released its first downloadable content (DLC) for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4), and PC.

The game was released in Jan. 23, and it was dubbed as "The Hidden Ones." As previously seen in the DLC's trailer, the game features an extended story with added outfits and maps that highlight the first DLC of "Assassin's Creed Origins." Several rare and legendary weapons will also be included in this map extension, offering players a lot more in the process.

The story in the DLC starts four years after the main events of the original game. "The Hidden Ones" will feature an extended world named "Sinai," which was inspired by Egypt. This extension is probably the most integral addition of the game since it houses a new society that the game will focus on.

The new society is actually based on the the Egyptian-Roman conflict in world history. Bayek, the game's protagonist and playable character, will be spearheading a hidden faction that will go up against the abusive Romans. The main problem that players will try to solve here is that the faction led by Bayek (which is actually the Brotherhood), is small in number compared to the powerful Roman army.

As far as the message of the DLC goes, it does not stray far from what the "Assassin's Creed" franchise has tried to do for many years. There remains a conflict between the Templars and Assassins, who are in conflict because they have opposing means of achieving the same utopian goal.

As such, "The Hidden Ones" will be using the same formula of success used by "Assassin's Creed." In the DLC, two factions go against each other, and one is the lesser than the other. As such, it is up to the main playable character to stealthily take down the enemy, one leader at a time.

"The Hidden Ones" is currently available for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
