The release date for "Assassins Creed: Origins" first DLC titled "Hidden Ones" was already revealed by Ubisoft, along with other future expansions set to be released this year.

The first expansion will take place in Sinai, a new region to be added to the map. "The Sinai is a mountainous region with a strong Roman military presence," Ubisoft explained. "The Hidden Ones" will be available for download on Jan. 23.

"Players will witness the Roman occupation as they discover many well-guarded Roman military camps, harbors, and construction sites where Romans are taking apart Egyptian monuments. This steep region will offer many new opportunities for parkour and traversal gameplay, as well as challenging fights."

The DLC is set four years after the events of the original game, and Bayek and other supporting characters are also set to return. Players who have already reached level 40 will have more room to grow with an increased level cap to 45, in order for Bayek and the Brotherhood to grow more powerful and defeat the Roman invaders.

New in-game goodies also await the players in the DLC, including multiple new weapons, a new outfit, two new mounts, and four new legendary weapons. Ubisoft also noted that all progressions made in the DLC will be saved if ever the players want to return to the original campaign, including the weapons and skills gained in the DLC.

Players who have already purchased the Season Pass will get free access to the DLC, while players who haven't can download it separately for $9.99.

The release date for the game's second DLC will also go live this year on March 6, and is set to have an all-new storyline separate from the original campaign. Titled "The Curse of the Pharaohs," Bayek and the brotherhood will investigate a curse surrounding Thebes, and will be up against zombie-like pharaohs and other mythological beasts in a new realm.

The level cap for the second DLC will be raised even further to 55, and new abilities and skills will also be introduced. Like "The Hidden Ones," "The Curse of the Pharaohs" is free to download for all Season Pass owners. Meanwhile, the game can also be bought separately for $19.99.

A new "educational expansion" called "Discovery Tour by Assassin's Creed: Ancient Egypt" will also go live on Feb. 20, where the whole map of the game can be explored further via guided tours curated by Egyptologists and historians. It's also free for game owners, and can also be downloaded separately for $19.99 on Uplay or Steam.
