It seems American Football star Aaron Rodgers not only plays good in the field but also in video games, as the quarterback sits down with talk show host and comedian Conan O'Brien to play "Assassin's Creed: Origins."

Conan's show segment, where he plays video games he isn't familiar with, is called "Clueless Gamer." This time around, he invited Rodgers to test out the newly released "Assassin's Creed" game from developer and publisher Ubisoft. Rogers can be seen wearing an arm sling due to a devastating collarbone injury he received in the last season of National Football League (NFL). Rodgers seems to be doing fine despite the injury and may get to return later on in the season.

The video shows Conan, as usual, start off the segment with a wisecrack at Rodgers, asking why he got the injury and wanting him to "relive" what happened during the unfortunate game. The two begin the game in the tutorial section where Bayek, the game's protagonist, is seen fighting a heavily armored opponent much larger than him. Conan clowns around in the game, missing the action cues and not taking the game seriously.

Conan then accidentally stumbled upon a hidden developer in-game cheat code "God mode," which he accessed by unwittingly pressing both the right and left analog sticks at the same time. Doing so made Bayek levitate and flap his hands around like a bird and also allowed him to go through the walls and the floor. During this state, the character could also not be damaged.

Conan and Rodgers continued to mock the existence of the "God mode" cheat due to its humorous nature, prompting a disclaimer from Ubisoft and Conan's show that the cheat is not available in the actual game and that it was never meant to be discovered by "average shlubs" like Conan. Apparently, the comedian was pressing the controller like a "three-year-old" and happened upon the funny cheat by accident.

Conan and Rodgers then went on to cause more trouble in-game and fought with hippos, ran over civilians with a chariot, and goofed around a pit-fighting arena.

The same game, though without the "God mode" cheat code, can now be accessed and has been released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows.
