Ubisoft released a new patch update for its latest video game release, "Assassin's Creed: Origins." Patch 1.1.0 is now available for download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, either via Steam or Uplay.

The new patch takes up 3 GB of space for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Gamers playing through Steam will need 1.2 GB and 2.7 GB from Uplay gamers.

The new patch brings new contents and also fixes a few graphic issues reported by gamers. In terms of something new, the patch adds the difficulty mode "Nightmare" and an NPC scaling option. With the "Enemy Auto-Level" scaling, it is now possible for enemies' level to scale up to player's level. The new patch also introduces the new "Horde Mode" in the arena.

The patch also fixes issues with the graphics, gameplay, system, world, quest, and user interface. The new update prioritizes the open-world element of the game.

In terms of graphics, the texture streaming selection has been improved to allow for better high-resolution texture. The graphics and texture of some areas in the game were also improved like the Siwa Temple and Hemon Mastaba location. For Xbox One, the terrain memory budget has been increased for higher resolution texture and to minimize popping in the midst of camera rotation.

The issue with the reset graphic notion on PC has also been resolved, as well as the white squares in 4K monitors.

Navigating the map is also now easier with the new "uncompleted locations" filter added to the World Map.

Based on comments from gamers, most of them are happy with the new "Nightmare" difficulty mode. However, there are some comments indicating that Ubisoft might have had overlooked some graphic issues with the PlayStation 4 console.

One user reported that some issues on the Xbox One are also present on the PlayStation 4 console but are not addressed in the patch.

There are still no comments from Ubisoft about these new comments and if the developer will launch a new patch.

The game received a 9 out of 10 score from IGN.
