At the recently-started Computex 2015, tech manufacturer Asus announced it will be releasing a new line-up under its Transformer Book series.

The new Transformer Book, T100HA, is the follow-up to the entry-level T100TA Windows 8 hybrid device. Since the new products line-up will be rolled out during the latter part of the year, Asus is saying that the new Transformer Book will come pre-loaded with the new platform Windows 10. Aside from the new operating system, the new 2-in-1 tablet will also sport the ultra-slim, reversible USB Type-C port first seen in Apple's recently-launched 12-inch Macbook.

The display for the tablet will be a 1366 x 768 multitouch HD screen, measured at 10.1 inches. Under the hood, the hybrid device will run on the new Intel Bay Trail quad-core processors with 4 GB of RAM. The tablet part of the device is also lightweight, weighing in at only 580 grams. It is also considered one of the thinnest in the line-up with its 8.54-mm thickness.

In addition to the revamped specs, Asus also promises that the new Transformer Book will have the juice needed both by casual owners and power-hungry, heavy users. The TH100HA has a battery life of up to fourteen hours.

Interested Asus fans and hybrid lookers can also select from four different color schemes on the new Transformer Book, as the T100HA will be released in Silk White, Tin Grey, Aqua Blue, and Rouge Pink.

No price for the new Transformer Book accompanied the announcement. However, most observers say that if Asus will have its way, and if the new Transformer Book would be a successor to the previous T100 line-up, the price may start at $400 for a T100HA with 64 GB SSD.

The new Tranformer Book T100HA is expected to arrive in the third quarter of the year.
