Koei Tecmo's video game "Attack on Titan 2" is due to be released on March. The company has released trailers showing off that the game has a multiplayer mode.

The multiplayer modes of "Attack on Titan 2" offer both competitive and cooperative experience.

Players can match up in competetive 4 vs 4 games, or they can team up to help each other kill the titular Titans.

One of the main multiplayer features of the game is Annihilation Mode, which allows teams of 4 vs 4 players battle for points.

Killing Titans and improving the unit's defenses are a surefire way of earning points for these matches. Chain Bonuses allow for a team to rack up some bonus points when they eliminate foes as a unit. As the match draws to a close, the stakes get higher because here will be a 2x multiplier for every point earned.

Those who get the most points at the end of the match will win.

Reports say that this sequel to the original game will have a more robust gameplay that its predecessor. It will require more player involvement, which could mean more time investment to skillfully master the game's controls and mechanics.

This is especially because "Attack on Titan 2" added some new role-playing game (RPG) elements to the gameplay. Certain mechanics allow players to build relationships with characters in a unit, which in turn makes for a more efficient and effective Titan-slaying party.

Some features from the previous game have also been re-balanced for a better and fairer experience. Stealth elements were added into the game, as well.

"Attack on Titan 2" is a video game based on the manga and anime of the same name, particularly the second season of the anime series. It is expected to be released on March 20 and will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
