A few lucky gamers will get the chance to test out the demo version of Koei Tecmo's upcoming action video game "Attack on Titan 2" during the Paris Games Week that will take place during the first week of November. Gaming authorities will choose among the attendees during the five-day trade pair that will start on Nov. 3 at the Paris Expo Exhibition Center, Porte de Versailles, Paris.

There will also be a simultaneous playable demo of the game at the Lucca Comics & Games Convention at Padiglione, Italy with the same schedule as the one in Paris.

The release date for the sequel is scheduled in early 2018 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via steam. The initial installment of the game franchise, "Attack on Titan" or "Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom," which was released on Feb. 18, 2016, received a 7.3 out of 10 score from IGN. Gamers are demanding a more extensive variation on how the game utilizes the omni-directional mobility gear.

According to an IGN report, the hack-and-slash element of the game will be amplified with improvement to the mobility gear. In an interview with DualShockers, Koei Tecmo President and Chief Operating Officer Hisashi Koinuma said the game will be a lot harder. "Improvements will be implemented to make battles more complex and challenging," Koinuma said.

The sequel will focus on the story line of the "Attack on Titan: Season 2," meaning new enemies and a wider terrain for the battleground will be introduced.

The first game received a 9 out of 10 score from Steam and 74% rating from Metacritic. Some gamers found the initial game lacking in terms of action since the animated series was all about a fast-phased combat of humanity against the gigantic titans.
